furcate

furcate - adj., forked, branching. v., to form a fork or branch.

At first glance, this may look like a refugee from F-week, but it actually was up next as "bifurcation" -- and I decided forming any number of branches was more interesting than forming exactly two. From Latin furcātus, forked, cloven, from furca, fork.
