Plural is canthi, which is what I actually had on my list. So, yeah, there's a name for it. Since 1649, from Late Latin, from Greek kanthos. (Dictionaries disagree over whether there's any deep PIE relation between kanthos and the celtic roots of cant in the sense of a corner.)
