theiform

theiform - adj., having the form of tea.


Unfortunately, "it invariably produced something that was almost, but not quite, entirely not theiform" just doesn't have the same ring. Not clear if this means the plant, its dried leaves, or the drink. From French, from Late Latin thea, tea, + -form.
