filemot

filemot or philamot or feuillemort(e) (FIL-uh-mot) - n., a dull brown or yellowish brown, the color of a dead or faded leaf.

From French, obviously, where it was feuillemorte, from feuille, leaf + morte, dead. I'm not sure when it was borrowed, but the first g-hits are from the 19th century (including one from Ben-Hur).
