farraginous

farraginous (fuh-RAJ-uh-nuhs) - adj., heterogeneous, mixed, composed of a variety.

The adjectival form of farrago, which I ran a while ago -- from Latin farrāgō, a mixed crop of feed grains, from far, emmer + -āgō, suffix noting kind or nature. Not to be confused with the ferruginous owl, which we have hearabouts.
