grison

grison (GREY-suhn, GRIZ-uhn) - n., either of two small weasel-like carnivores (Galictis vittata or G. cuja) of Central and South America, having grizzled fur, a slender body, and short legs.

Also called a South American wolverine, though it looks more weasel-y than wolverine-ish to me:

Grison, not wearing a muscle shirt
Thanks, WikiMedia!

The name is from French, meaning grey-furred, from Old French gris, grey + -on, diminutive suffix.
