These guys. Invented between the world wars to have a lot of crannies for holding thicker sauces. The name is (of course) from Italian, meaning radiators, because of their resemblance to steam-heated radiators.

Oh, wow, never seen this type before!

Our local chain grocery (Trader Joe's) usually has a tri-color version, which I like to use for alfredo sauces. (With the pasta flavors, cheese-sauce doesn't work as well.)
