bobble (BOB-uhl) - v., to make a repeated, jerky movement; to juggle or fumble (a batted or thrown baseball) momentarily.

Plus the noun forms, including by extension of the latter, an error or mistake. Frequentive of bob, as in to bob up and down, first attested in 1812 -- which makes this by far the most recently coined frequentive we've seen.

And that wraps up a fourth week of frequentives -- and I have more to come. But not next week -- I also have plenty of words that are not frequentives to get through.
