vitiligo - n., partial or total loss of skin pigmentation, often occurring in patches.


Sometimes also called leukoderma, though sometimes a distinction is made that leukoderma is congenital while vitiligo is acquirable. From Latin vitiligo, tetter, or at least some skin disease.
