pantopragmatic - adj., meddling in everybody's business.

Again, not a colorful 19th century Americanism -- it seems to have been coined by Thomas Love Peacock (from Greek roots) for his 1860 novel Gryll Grange, which has a Pantopragmatic Society. So a colorful 19th century Britishism.
