pullulate - v., to germinate, sprout, breed profusely, increase rapidly, swarm, teem.

There should be some semicolons dividing the pullulating senses, but it's hard to decide where. From Latin pullulatus, past participle of pullulare, grow, sprout, from pullulus, diminutive of pullus, chicken, young animal.
