So the primordial ooze is the ooze at the start of it all, more than the ooze that started it all. From Latin Latin primordialis, first of all, original, from Latin primordium, the beginning, from primus, first + ordiri, to begin. "Begin at the beginning, go all the way to the end, and then stop."
