pandiculate (pan-DI-ku-layt) - v., to yawn and stretch simultaneously.


As opposed to just stretching or just yawning. The root is Latin pandiculari, to stretch onself (which has the same root as the step of expand), which tells you something of the primary action here. See here for an example of pandiculation by way of a 1783 self-portrait of Joseph Ducreux plus uses of the term in 20th century quack medicine.
