teratoid (TER-uh-toid) - adj., resembling a monster, grotesquely deformed; monstrous, abnormal.
Mostly a biology term, through I'm sure there's some Japanese movies that could use it. Coined in the 1870s from either scientific terato- or its Greek root teras, monster, prodigy. See also teratology, the study of birth defects.
