zedonk (ZEE-dongk, ZEE-dawngk) - n., the offspring of a zebra and a donkey.
Especially of a male zebra and female donkey, but this distinction is not universally observed. Other names for this hybrid include zebonkey, zebronkey, zebrinny, zebrula, zebrass, zedonk, and zebadonk, and the adjective for all of zebra crosses (including with horse and pony) is zebroid. Coined around 1970 from ze(bra) + donk(ey), of course.
