anonym (AN-uh-nim) - n., an anonymous person; a pseudonym, esp. one used in a specific social role.
The person sense was first (from around 1800), but has since been eclipsed by the name sense (since 1866). From the same source as anonymous (namely, via Latin from Greek anonymos, without a name, from an-, without + -ōnyma, name) only via French anonyme instead of directly.
