trooz (TROOZ) - n., (Scot.) trews, trousers.

Trews being close-fitting, tartan trousers -- a traditional Highland dress choice. From either Gaelic triubhas or alteration of earlier trouse, short for trousers -- and that last, frankly, is what I've always assumed.

Trooz for yooz?
