And it's back to a second installment of words learned from solo play of Words With Friends, or WTF WWF 2 -- this week showcasing XJQ words, starting with:
xu (SOO) - n., a former coin of Vietnam, equal to 1/100 of a đồng.
No longer used, nor are single đồng currency, and indeed amounts less than 1000 đồng are rarely used. But it's still a valid word, one of those few 2-letter X words, along with ax, ex, ox, and xi. The name comes from French sou, penny, and the plural form is also xu.
