Yes, it's archaic. No, I don't care. Yes, it's a sweet, sweet word. No, it isn't actually all that old, having been coined in the 1850s (possibly in historical novels?). Yes, it's a bit too obvious to point out it's in the same mold as yesterday only just at noon instead of all day, but I'm doing it anyway.
