muffineer (muhf-uh-NEER) - n., a shaker or caster for sprinkling sugar (or other condiments) on food (esp. muffins).
Also, a disk for keeping muffins hot, but clearly this isn't nearly as important as learning that unlike the salt or pepper shakers, a shaker for sugar has a special name. Why isn't this more of a Thing in American culture, to consistently set one on the table? Name comes from its use with, specifically, muffins, naturally.
