lingible (LING-i-buhl) - adj., meant to be licked.


As in lingible stamps, which are now old-fashioned. I would think lickable, but that's what the dictionaries -- or rather, books that compile "I can't believe English has a word for that" lists -- are saying. The root is Latin lingere, to lick, which yes has the same PIE root.
