lunistice - n., (astron) the most northern and southern points of the moon's monthly revolution.

From Latin luna, moon, + sistere, to cause to stand. The lunar equivalent of a solstice, the most northern and southern point of the sun's yearly revolution, though more commonly thought of as the time the sun reaches the solstice. Which it will do today, at 18:36 UTC. Good solstice all!
