nullibiquitous - adj., existing nowhere.


From Latin nullibi, nowhere, plus the ending of ubiquituous. Via the Worthless Word of the Day. I think it's rather charming, though that says nothing about its utility.

It's rare enough that LJ's spell-check has only suggestion, to change it to syllabicates.

I use nullibeity (the sense of being nowhere, or a sense of no place) from time to time. I use it to describe the grid nightmare that is Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley... You know you're in the Valley, but you might as well be anywhere therein. You get the sense you could make two wrong turns and pull into the mirror image wrong driveway, walk into a stranger's house and just take their life... Nullibeity.
