bosky (BOS-kee) - adj., covered with bushes, shrubs, or small trees; of or relating to a woods.
Somewhat to my surprise, this is not derived from bosque, which is a local term for a gallery woodland near a river, borrowed from Spanish -- instead, the Spanish ultimately has a Germanic root (traveling southward through Frankish and Provencal), namely the same root as this word, which also is the root of bush. Bosky itself dates from the 1580s, bosk in the sense of forest since the 13th century.
