binturong (bin-TOOR-awng, bin-TOOR-ong) - n., an arboreal civet (Arctictis binturong) having a long, prehensile tail.
Dark fluffy fur, tufted ears, striking whiskers, and an apparently permanent put-upon expression. Also called a bearcat. It's native to south-east Asia, and the name is from Malay.
