hadadah or hadada or hadeda (HAH-deh-dah, HAH-dah-dah) - n., a large ibis (Bostrychia hagedash) of sub-Saharan Africa with dark brown plumage and a lighter, sometimes iridescent green, patch on its wings and shoulders.

The name comes from its call, a distinctive, loud "haa-haa-haa-de-dah." I prefer the spelling with a final -h, as that's a palindrome.
