A word that's rarer than it ought to be -- rare enough, I'm not easily finding it in a dictionary that includes a pronunciation. Coined from Ancient Greek mīséō, to hate + kapnós, smoke (in general) + -ist, agentive suffix -- when, I don't know, but I found a quotation from 1876 given without definition.
Administrivia: Posting is likely to be irregular for the next week or two due family obligations. Hopefully things will settle down sooner than later.
