Sometimes also used for eating reptiles in general, by which you can tell this oddly specific word actually does get used. That pronunciation is per the dictionary I found that had one, but for the life of me I really want to stress the second syllable instead. The stem is from Ancient Greek saƻros, lizard -- which is as good a time as any to remind you that dinosaur literally means thunder-lizard.
