quiff - n., a hairstyle with a forelock brushed up from the forehead. n., a woman, esp. one regarded as promiscuous.


Done as two entries because they really are separately created words, though both are "uncertain origin". It wouldn't surprise me though if there isn't a root of a medieval slang word for female genitalia in the second sense, even if it's formally attested only from the 1920s. The hairstyle dates from the 1890s -- think Tintin, or certain pompadour styles.
