stenobathic - adj., able to live only within a narrow range of water depths.

eurybathic - adj., able to live in a wide range of water depths.

Both applied to aquatic organisms, both fresh- and salt-water. Both coined in the early 20th century, though I haven't found the exact year of stenobathic, from Greek roots: eurýs meaning wide, stenós meaning narrow, and báthos meaning depth. Both stress have stress on the bath, which is pronounced the same way you pronounce "bath" in your dialect.
