colubrine (KOL-uh-brine or KOL-uh-brin) - adj., of, pertaining to, or relating to snakes.


Yay snakes. From Latin, from colubra, snake -- but interestingly borrowed in the 1520s, a couple generations before the era of heavily Latinization of the language.
