imbriferous (im-BRIF-uhr-us) - adj., rainy, rain-bearing.

The latter being the more-or-less etymological meaning: from Latin imbrifer, rain-bearing or rain-bringing, from imber, rain, shower, rainstorm + ferre, to carry, bear -- that last from the PIE root for bear. A word for our rainy season.
