The adjectival sense is a recent non-standard usage, and one should probably use the existing misocapnic instead. While this might look like a humorous recent coinage from Greek roots (miso-, hatred + kapnos, smoke), it is in fact a humorous Victorian coinage from Greek roots, with citations of both -ist and -ic starting around 1860.
