ereyesterday (ehr-YES-tur-day) - n., (obs.) the day before yesterday.

overmorrow (OH-vuhr-mowr-row) - n., (obs.) the day after tomorrow.


Both created out of English roots, the former dating back to Old English while the latter seems to be from Middle English some time. The latter is more easily found in dictionaries, in part because it appears in the 1551 Tyndale Bible and so needs to be explained.

I love 'overmorrow' but I'm not a fan of 'ereyesterday.' Probably because it looks like a kludge, whereas overmorrow looks... more streamlined.

It's possible to read ereyesterday as an open-ended adverb, conveying any time before yesterday.
