prepend (PREE-pend) - v.t., to attach (something) to the front.


Oh look, a spare P word left over. The opposite of append (from which it was formed by analogy). You prepend a prefix to a word and append a suffix to it. Alas, I have never heard of a prependix, but it would be awesome to find a book with one.
