cricetine (KRI-seh-teen) - adj., of, related to, or resembling a hamster.


Hamsters being any of 26 species of the subfamily Cricetinae of the rodents. Sometimes also used of any member of the family Cricetidae, which also includes voles, lemmings, gerbils, et cet., but really, it's much more important to be able to call someone hamsterlike than volelike.
