turdiform - adj., of, relating to, or resembling a thrush.


Or any other bird of the family Turdidae, including the American (but not European) Robin and the Eurasian Blackbird. From, as you might expect, turdus, the Latin for thrush.

Although I am a birdwatcher and know the Latin names, I find it hard not to believe that "turdiform" ought to describe a somewhat long, cylindrical shape tapered at both ends. And "turdihued" ought to describe a brownish color. And sometimes I giggle inappropriately.
