Yes, there is a word for cussing off steam -- and dammit I wish I'd known that earlier. But then, it's a rare word appearing in few dictionaries. Coined I dunno when from Greek roots lalo(s), speech + khézō(n), to defecate. So, yeah, poop-talk -- I'm guessing the coiner's culture did more scatological than profane cussing.
