speciose - adj., rich in species.
Seems to be used not of habitats, as I naively thought, but of classifications, as in a speciose genus is one with lots of species or describing arthropods as the most speciose animal phylum. From species + -ose, suffix indicating the quality of possessing the stem, from Latin -ōsos, "full of".
