aeneous (ey-EE-nee-uhs) - adj., bronze-colored.
Not gonna lie, I was not expecting that definition. Nothing to do with air or airy. No idea where I stumbled across it, as going by usage examples it's almost exclusively used in entomology ("an aeneous beetle"). (Interestingly, Chrome's spellcheck actually knows it.) Taken in 1808 from Latin aēneus, of bronze (or other copper alloys), from aes. bronze/brass/copper.
