prettygoodwordfellmonger (FEL-mong-ger) - n., a dealer in hides or skins of animals; someone who prepares skins for tanning, esp. removing the hair, fur, or wool.
As Wikipedia notes, one of the oldest jobs in the world. Coined in, probably, the 15th century from fell, pelt/hide (which goes back to Old English) + monger, seller (which goes back to Old English, from mangere, to sell, from Latin mango, trader esp. one that embellishes their wares, akin to Greek magganon, magic potion/charm).
