Anatomy has such fun words -- I try not to rely on them heavily, but I couldn't resist this. TIL, btw, I've been mispronouncing this all along by stressing the first syllable. Ah, well. Dates to the early 1820s, taken from New aka Medical Latin glabella, which is either the feminine singular or neuter plural of Latin glabellus, smooth/hairless, diminutive of glaber, bald.
