segue - v., to make a smooth transition, to proceed without interruption. n., an act or instance of segueing.


Originally of music, now used of any state or situation. From Italian meaning "it follows," from seguire, to follow, from Latin sequi. Note the spelling of the participle.

creepy, I was making a righteous CD and I posted something about making segueway-ways on my elljay somewhere, and my gf said to me out of the blue, "it's not a segueway-way," and soon thereafter, I read this post.
