spoonerism - n., the transposition of the initial sounds of two words.
Especially when done accidentally. After the Rev. William Archibald Spooner (1844-1930), Warden of New College, Oxford, who was notoriously prone to spoonerisms. Wikipedia has discussion and examples, including my favorite, "The Lord is a shoving leopard."
